So uh, round-up and resolutions!

2011 Resolutions:

- Get into UCLA. MARCH 25TH GET YOUR BUTT HERE NOW... ;;;;;;
- Colleeeeeege. Enjoy the first semestre!!
- CARRY OUT THE FIRST *GOOD* SENIOR PRANK IN MANY A YEAR. )))<
- Have lots and lots of fun with the awesome people over at IEatManga!
- Flute + Art ↑↑↑.
- Learn enough Japanese well enough to test myself out of Introductory in college.
- Graduate in the top eight percent!
- GPA > 4.10
- Work on webcomics/doujin/fanfics/more art/etc.
- Get the game I've been planning out and released!! o/
- Complete all my cosplays and kill it at A-Kon 22 and A-Fest 2011!
- Work out/LOSE. WEIGHT.

Decent progress, I guess? Haha. This year has been pretty packed: I joined Tumblr/MSoH and met SO MANY AMAZING PEOPLE that I am so happy and so grateful to have as friends. I finished my senior year in decent standings, excited as hell to get out of there and into college. Made it into some schools, denied from others, but got into my top choice, whoo!!

A-Kon in June was pretty cool, though I discovered a great distaste for large cons. Then A-Fest in September, awesome profits and awesome neighbours, overall a great AA experience.

Then came all the hysteria that comes with moving into college and survived my first college marching camp and season overall. Definitely, the UCLA marching band failed my expectations/what I was used to, but the performances are just as thrilling and fun as ever. Plowed through my first semestre of coursework while dealing with what seemed to be all the depression and misery that I never got in my high-school years. Thanks so much to everyone who tolerated my whining and complaining through this, I'm so *SO* grateful.

And then, in December, I joined Milizia and met some more cool people who I hope to get to know more in the coming year.

Now I'm home, stuffed with cake and food and curled up with my two best friends watching V for Vendetta, reflecting on the year and wincing at all the things I still owe people.

SO!! 2012 Resolutions:

- Keep up grades!!
- Keep improving on errthing.
- Stay positive, stay friends.
- Work on things!!
- 's wedding/AX/A-Fest, do 'em and enjoy 'em~.

So, um, resolutions!! Let's see, last year's were...

- GPA > 4.0 Barely, but it's up there...
- Get a DECENT summer job - IN CHINA ALL SUMMER so yeah, no. > >;;
- Flute + Art ↑ - LOL FLUTE FAILED but art I hope...??
- Don't get a traffic ticket.
- Get a PS 3. Vinceeent~. <333
- Exchange trip plans. - ...long story, but, yeah. > >;;;
- Survive rest of 9-10 high-school - Clearly, I LIVE!! /o/ o/ o
- DON'T PROCRASTINATE. - AHAHAHAHA NO I totally got worse this year. T_____T;;;;;;

SAKU NO 2010 RESOLUTIONS:

- Get 4-5/5 on: AP Art, AP English, AP US History Exams.
- GET INTO TOP TEN PERCENTILE (EIGHT IS BETTER).
- GPA > 4.15
- SAT > 2200
- ACT > ...IDK WHAT'S CONSIDERED "GOOD" ON THE ACT but I WANT TO DO *WELL*, ALRIGHT?
- US History SAT Subject > 80th percentile
- Math, Physics SAT Subjects > 700 (BECAUSE HAHAHA LAME ASIAN PERCENTILES ARE LAME. = =;;;; ).
- Flute + Art ↑.
- Start on at least one of webcomic/web-doujin ideas.
- UCLAUCLAUCLAUCLAUCLAUCLAUCLAUCLAUCLA.
- Maintain achieved 2009 resolutions.
- STUDY HABITS, I REALLY NEED TO LEARN THEM. T________T;;;;;;
- Read more. Like, seriously. And not fanfics, either.
- Fanfics, work on them.
- Lose weight. Get down to at least 130 lbs.
- Regain arm muscles -- use those dumbbells!!
- Survive junior year and ENJOY SENIOR YEAR!!

But ahhh, crap, I can't believe I haven't updated my journal in six months -- and the last actual PROPER artwork I've uploaded was in July?? I'M TAKING AN AP ART COURSE, WHY AM I NOT SUBMITTING MORE STUF-- oh right. I hate most of them.

So, news...

*OH*! I've turned seventeen since my last entry, and bought my first "M"-rated game (Devil May Cry) at GameStop with my friends crowding around me giggling like dorks while I got out my ID. =  =;; The guy at the counter wished my a "Happy Belated Birthday", though. x'D;

Ahhhh, thanks to everyone who's still sticking with me, though; I'm really grateful, you don't even know. TT w TT;; And hopefully there'll be more stuff uploaded second semester; Student's choice, yay!!

Hey guys, I was wondering if you knew of any really good tutorials for the effects of perspective on people. There are more than enough out there on landscape and such, but severely lacking when it comes to people. Because really, I love having interesting perspectives to spice up a piece, but the fact remains that there are only so much references of bird's eye view/looking up/etc. )):;

...things...have worked out between me and my parents, albeit not...in the most stable manner. But, yes. I'm back. Hopefully permanently, this time. I'll be bringing my gallery back, but it's high time I did some major cleaning on it, so it'll be in bits and pieces.

(And for anyone wondering about my art supplies, they're safe. It's a long story, and I'd rather not explain.)

It's over. Done. Finite. I'll be my parents' "perfect little girl" now. My tablet, art supplies? In a bag en route to the garbage.
